Do you give free estimates?
I’m happy to give you a free rough estimate. We can refine the bid if you decide you’d like to move forward.
How soon can you start?
My schedule is constantly changing, so let’s chat to find out where I’m at.
Can you take a look at this house I want to buy?
Sure! Our rate is $200 to go look at a home with you. We can figure out what’s doable at that time.
Do you sub contract your work?
We do most of the work ourselves but do subcontract some work including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and other specialty trades. Our aim is to bring a team of excellent tradespeople together to build you the best-finished product.
Who handles permits? Do I need them?
We take care of plans, permits and scheduling inspections if required.
Will the price of the project change?
Fixed contracts will not change price, unless the scope of work changes. In other words, if you’d like to add a custom built-in, it’ll change the price. You’ll be asked to approve that change order before we start.
Who will be my point of contact?
Evan will be the project manager and the main point of contact.
Can I live in the house during construction?
Sure. We make every effort to keep your living space as clean as possible during work.
How far away will you travel for a job?
Ideally, we take on projects within the greater Portland area, but we may be flexible.
